| Cole is 3 ft tall and weighs
28lbs
In January, We DROVE down to Fullerton to see John's family.
the drive was
long. Cole did well except for when he was tired. Once he slept he was
fine
again. It really wasn't a bad trip, but I don't think we will do it again
for a while.
We figured we try it since we now had to buy Cole a plane ticket. I would
rather pay the extra cost to fly, atleast for now.
Cole loves visiting his cousins. They adore him and he gets
so much attention
from everyone. We eat lots of great Korean food and John's mom made us
some homemade Kim Chi, which Cole loves too. A bunch of us went to the
aquarium in Long Beach. It is a great place, Cole really enjoyed seeing
everything
and konked out in the stroller.
We celebrated Cole's 2nd birthday with a party at our house
with a few of his friends
and their parents. We invited a friend to come and play guitar and sing
Cole's favorite
songs from sing along. He wanted chocolate cake, but really didn't eat
much of it.
I think he just likes to ask for chocolate, but doesn't like all that
much. Too sweet.
He was tired that entire day because he was up for 4 hours in the night.
Something
had upset his stomach and he vomited a bunch and didn't get much sleep.
He made
it through his party, but didn't eat food for a food days except for mama's
milk.
I was worried he might be sick, but he must have been afraid to eat after
being so sick.
It is March now and we are looking forward to spring and
warm weather. Cole likes
to be bare foot, always. He is constantly taking off his shoes and socks
when we are out
and always takes them off as soon as he is in his car seat. He is also
over wearing sweaters
and does not want to wear anything with buttons or snaps. He is basically
dressing himself
these days and picking out his own clothes. We had a month of him changing
his clothes
5-10 times a day. I don't mind it since he is only getting better at doing
it each time. He is
working on taking his socks and shoes off by himself, which he can do,
but usually wants it
done faster than he can do so he asks for help. In the past week, he has
been asking
to do almost everything himself. Get his cup, spoon, put on his coat,
open up the food,
put the food on his plate, get into the car, everything. It is great,
though sometimes he
gets upset that I do something when i don't know he wants to do it himself
and we have
to stop and do things over. I love seeing this independence in him. He
is also starting
to talk in complete sentences.
enjoy, Lisa
