Cole
is 15 weeks on May 1st (3.5 months old)
I'm not sure of an
exact weight, but I'd say atleast 15lbs and his is 26" long.
He just grew out of his newborn car seat and we purchased an infant seat
over the weekend.
He looked huge in his old car seat; now he looks like a peanut in the
new one. I'm sure it
won't take long for him to grow into it.
Cole is still fascinated with his hands. He watches as he moves each finger
individually & has
started to move his arm in and out of his line of vision - learning how
it all works.
He is grabbing for everything...
my shirt, glasses, and anything in reach. He has also noticed that he
has these cool things at
the bottom of him - his legs and feet, but has yet to actually acknowledge
it. Won't be long
until he's grabbing for his feet too. His vision is getting much better.
You can tell he can really
see things just from the way he looks at you.
Cole has started rolling over from his back to his stomach and even pulls
his arm out from
under him. It doesn't take him long to get fustrated in this position,
but he's working on it.
He has a lot of momentum when he kicks his legs over. It's fun to watch.
He also does this in
his sleep. I have woken up to hear him on our bed face down,
wondering how he got there.
Two weeks ago he discovered his tongue and spent the entire week sticking
it out from
the time he woke up until bedtime. It was so cute!
Believe it or not, Cole has started teething and it makes me cry to hear
him
cry out in pain and get that really sad face. This week (April 25) has
been tough for him
and I am still trying to figure out how to help. I have had to rock him
to sleep each night
and have been holding him a lot during the day.
My brother Don spent the week with us while John was off to New York for
work.
We had a great time together, though we didn't get to do too much with
Cole's teething.
